Qik, the mobile video company that is closely associated with Sprint’s Evo 4G has been unveiled to be the central force behind T-Mobile's mobile video chat service. The integrated T-Mobile Video Chat will feature integration into the native Android address book while bring carrying along the benefit of signifying live presence, enabling customers to connect with friends and family via live video conversations and video messaging over T-Mobile’s network and Wi-Fi.
As per Andrew Sherrard, T-Mobile’s VP of product management:
“T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik is the ideal showcase for the capabilities of our network and is an example of our focus on providing innovative new solutions to enrich the lives of our customers.”
It seems that Qik is keen to making T-Mobile’s Android lineup more exciting than ever. This additional offering will effortlessly draw more attention and sales to the already popular brand, much like making an outfit standout just by simply adding a nice cummerbund to a guy’s designer suits.
